NA Vice President Meets with Ambassador of China to Armenia

On August 17, the Vice President of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Armenia Fan Yong.

Welcoming the guest, Ruben Rubinyan congratulated the Ambassador on the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of the foundation of the Communist Party of China.

The Vice President of the Parliament has noted that China is one of the important partners of Armenia and has underlined that the political dialogue between two countries is at a high-level.

Thanking for the meeting, the Ambassador Fan Yong has mentioned that the cooperation and the friendly ties with Armenia is considered important for them.

Ruben Rubinyan has informed that the Armenia-China Friendship Group is one of the largest and active groups. He expressed readiness to more activate and deepen the cooperation between the Friendship Groups of the two countries.

During the meeting, Ruben Rubinyan presented the situation created as a result of Azerbaijan’s encroachments on the sovereign territory of Armenia. He has stressed that the Armenian side has victims as a result of the Azerbaijani aggression.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary has highlighted the establishment of peace in the region and the integrity and security of the borders of the Republic of Armenia, expressing hope that the issue will be solved exclusively through peaceful means.
